Franck Benito est très heureux
d'annoncer la réalisation de son livre
consacré à l'histoire et aux créations de la Maison Cristal Benito
depuis sa fondation en 1952, ... et même
avant en remontant aux sources familiales
!
144 pages pour raconter une histoire hors
du commun sur trois générations, pour
célébrer en images l'art du cristal
taillé, pour témoigner d'un engagement,
d'une créativité et d'une persévérance qui
font la beauté d'un métier rare et la
réussite d'une entreprise très
particulière !
Le texte principal du livre est traduit en
anglais, italien, russe, japonais, chinois
et arabe. Il est inséré sous la forme d'un
livret dans le livre.

Franck Benito is very
happy to announce the production of his
book dedicated to the history and
creations of Maison Cristal Benito since
its foundation in 1952, ... and before
with the family roots!
144 pages to tell an extraordinary story
over three generations, to celebrate in
pictures the art of cut crystal, to
demonstrate the commitment, creativity
and perseverance that make the beauty of
a rare craft and the success of a very
special company !
The main text of the book is translated
into English, Italian, Russian,
Japanese, Chinese and Arabic. It is
inserted as a booklet in the book.

Le
confinement : temps suspendu, temps incertain,
mais temps de création et de production
Pendant
près de 2 mois, L'Atelier Cristal Benito s'est mis
au diapason de l'activité en France et
d'une grande partie du reste du monde : ne pas
prendre de risques inutiles, ne pas s'exposer, se
préserver, se protéger,... et garder en soi
toute l'énergie pour l'après...
Pendant ce temps très particulier, l'atelier ne
s'est pas totalement arrêté cependant, et Franck a
continué, seul, de créer, de produire des pièces qui
seront, du fait de ce confinement, encore plus
uniques et particulières.
Aujourd'hui, l'activité a pleinement repris à
l'atelier et Cristal Benito est heureux de vous
présenter quelques unes de ses nouvelles
créations !

Containment
: suspended time, uncertain time, but creative
and productive time
For
almost 2 months, L'Atelier Cristal Benito has been
in tune with the the activity in France
and in a large part of the rest of the world: not
taking unnecessary risks, not exposing yourself,
preserving and protecting yourself,... and keeping
all the energy for the day after...
However during this very special time, the
workshop did not stop completely and Franck
continued, alone, to create to produce pieces
which will be, due to this containment, even more
unique and particular.
Today activity is fully restarted in the workshop
and Cristal Benito is happy to present some of his
new creations !

Riviera and the Villa E 1027

La Villa d'Eileen Gray retrouve son éclat !
La
villa E-1027 est une maison de bord de mer
conçue par Eileen Gray et
Jean Badovici à Roquebrune-Cap-Martin dans les
Alpes-Maritimes en France. C'est un exemple type
de l’architecture moderniste des années 1930.
Cristal
Benito a participé à sa restauration avec la
création de grands de panneaux en verre taillé pour
habiller des cloisons, portes de meubles,
etc... Plusieurs centaines d'heures de travail ont
été nécessaires pour tailler minutieusement ces
panneaux !

Eileen Gray's Villa regains its
lustre !
Villa E-1027 is a seaside house designed by
Eileen Gray and Jean Badovici in
Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in the Alpes-Maritimes in
France. It is a typical example of modernist
architecture of the 1930s.
Cristal Benito participated in its restoration
with the creation of large cut glass panels to
decore partitions, furniture doors, etc...
Several hundred hours of work were necessary to
meticulously cut these panels!
