L’atelier Cristal Benito est en pleine effervescence depuis plusieurs semaines.
Il prépare de nouvelles pièces qui seront accueillies à quelques rues du Duomo
et dans un cadre inédit pendant le Salone del Mobile du 8 au 13 avril.
Invité par Simon Cervi, fondateur de la maison Simon Projects 1978 Limited., Franck Benito développe actuellement
deux lampes de cristal sculpté et taillé, sublimées par le travail de marqueterie de Benoit Marcu
et de paille de Valerie Colas des Francs.
Ensemble, ils convoquent le vocabulaire formel de la montgolfière pour délivrer deux créations élégantes et élancées.

The Cristal Benito workshop has been in full swing for several weeks.
It is preparing new pieces that will be showcased a few streets from the Duomo
and in a unique setting during the Salone del Mobile from April 8 to 13.
Invited by Simon Cervi, founder of Simon Projects 1978 Limited, Franck Benito is currently developing
two cut and sculpted crystal table lamps, enhanced by the marquetry work of Benoit Marcu
and the straw work of Valerie Colas des Francs.
Together, they call upon the formal vocabulary of the hot air balloon to deliver two elegant and slender creations.

Du 21 au 25 mai, l’atelier célèbrera le retour du salon REVELATIONS organisé par Ateliers d’Art de France
dans la majestueuse nef du Grand Palais récemment restaurée.
Pour cette septième édition de la biennale valorisant la fine fleur des métiers d’art,
Cristal Benito exposera sur le stand collectif des Maîtres d’Art
dont Franck Benito, le dirigeant de l’atelier, fait partie depuis 2017.
Ce sera l’occasion pour lui de promouvoir le dispositif, mais aussi, de nourrir les liens avec les clients
qui lui ont déjà fait confiance, et faire découvrir son savoir-faire
à de nouveaux collectionneurs, architectes d’intérieurs, décorateur, designers d’objet.

From May 21st to 25th, the workshop will celebrate the return of the REVELATIONS fair
organized by Ateliers d’Art de France in the majestic Grand Palais nave recently restored.
For this seventh edition of the biennial showcasing the finest crafts,
Cristal Benito will exhibit on the collective booth of the Maîtres d’Art association,
of which Franck Benito, the workshop’s director, has been a member since 2017.
This will be an opportunity for him to promote the transmission program, but also to foster ties with partners who have already placed their trust in him, and to introduce his expertise to new collectors, interior architects, decorators, and designers.

L’atelier CRISTAL BENITO réalise des pièces qui subliment vos espaces intérieurs depuis 3 générations.
Courant de l’année 2022, l’Hôtel Meurice a contacté Franck Benito pour opérer une restauration délicate : une paire de vases montés en lampes datant du début du 20ème siècle illuminaient le salon Pompadour du palace parisien.
Un des deux vases avaient été accidenté et devaient être reproduit à l’identique.
L’atelier a collaboré avec le maître verrier Olivier Mallemouche pour recréer un moule et réaliser la forme originelle.
Franck Benito a pris le relai pour la taille et les ajustements nécessaires au montage, complété par un bronzier d’art.
Les pièces d’exception mesurant près d’un mètre chacune ont donc repris leur place, près de deux ans après le lancement du projet, dans un cadre exceptionnel en plein cœur de la capitale.

CRISTAL BENITO has been crafting pieces that enhance your interior spaces for three generations.
During 2022, the Hôtel Meurice contacted Franck Benito to carry out a delicate restoration:
a pair of vases mounted as lamps, dating from the early 20th century, illuminated the Pompadour salon of the Parisian palace.
One of the two vases had been damaged and needed to be reproduced identically.
The workshop collaborated with master glassmaker Olivier Mallemouche to recreate a mold and achieve the original shape.
Franck Benito took over the cutting and adjustments necessary for assembly, complemented by an expert bronze sculptor.
The exceptional pieces, each measuring nearly one meter, returned to their original location,
nearly two years after the project was launched, in an exceptional setting in the heart of the capital.
